SUBAC Usage and Installation Instructions
Hand-applied SUBAC works the same way as conventional mortar and requires minimal surface preparation. Remove any loose or unstable material. SUBAC is usually lowered to the diver in a pail, then placed by hand, using a trowel , or with other specialized tools depending on conditions. The shelf life of the product, if properly sealed after use, is one year.

Instructions For Use:
Subac is designed for placement in tidal zones and underwater only. It is hand applied and works the same way as conventional mortar.
Surface Preparation: Remove loose or unstable concrete, rust, marine growth, or other contaminants that would impede adhesion.
Mixing: Mix in small quantities approximately 3 parts Subac to 1 part water. Mix well to a putty like consistency and baseball size. Coat with water forming a smooth surface. See our video for proper mixing technique.
Placement Procedures: Work material firmly into prepared area or void. In running water or rapid current, maintain light pressure on patch until initial set begins and leaking has stopped.
Clean-up: Thoroughly rinse application tools and mixing equipment with water immediately after use.
