We installed a temporary steel sheet pile cofferdam that needs to be dewatered. The interlocks allow just enough seepage that our pumps cannot keep up with the water. Can SUBAC be used on the cofferdam interlocks to prevent water from filling in again?
Yes, SUBAC has often been used for this application. If the interlocks on the outside of the cofferdam is clean and free of growth a thin layer can be applied to stop the water. When The cofferdam is removed by a vibratory hammer, the SUBAC will become loose and fall off.
